Thailand Liveaboards

There are 3 locations that you can get to by liveaboard from Thailand:

• Similans – Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock
• South Andaman – around Hin Muang, Hin Daeng, Koh Haa and Phi Phi
• Myanmar – Black Rock and Mergui Archipelago *

The Similan Island liveaboards are fantastic.  With options for all budgets, and schedules of 3,4,5 or 7 days, there is something for everyone.

South Andaman trips tend to be short, usually weekend trips, visiting Hin Deang and Hin Muang with Koh Haa and sometimes Phi Phi on the way.

Myanmar liveaboards are usually 7-10 days, and the first day is always spent boarding, clearing immigration in Myanmar, and then motoring to the dive sites.  The last day includes clearing Thailand immigration on the way back.

*The diving infrastructure is not really developed in Myanmar, and if you want to dive there, you will need to leave from Thailand.
