Why Online Learning?

Online Learning gives you the freedom to study what you want, when you want to.

In the past when you wanted to learn to dive - or to progress in your diving - you had to spend several hours sat in a classroom with an instructor learning the theory. Technology has removed the need for the classroom, and has given you back your choice and your time.

Now the theory can be learned at a time, place and speed to suit you.

Once you have completed the theory, you will need an instructor to take you into the water, show you how the skills are done, check that you've reached the correct standard and to make sure you are safe.

What devices can I learn on?

Laptop or Computer

When learning on a laptop or computer you need to be connected to the internet any time you want to access the course. You don't need to download anything.

Tablet or Phone

When learning on a mobile device you need to be connected to the internet initially to download the app and course, and to submit knowledge reviews.

What happens after I enroll?

After enrolling, PADI's eLearning® system presents you with interactive presentations that include videos, audio, graphics and reading. Short quizzes let you gauge your progress, and review and correct anything you might happen to miss. This lets you move through the program efficiently and at your own pace.

How long do I have to complete the E-Learning?

The eLearning course materials are yours to keep and you will have perpetual access to an online version of the materials.

How do I document that I've completed the E-learning course?

Once you finish the eLearning portion of the course, your dive center is notified that you have completed it and that you are ready for the practical phase of the program. At the end of the eLearning program, you can print out your eRecord and bring a copy of it with you to your selected PADI Dive Center or Resort.

Where can I finish my course?

We would love to help you complete your course, but you don't have to complete it with us. You can go to any PADI dive centre, resort or PADI instructor to complete it.

Initially you are linked to Go2Similan - because that's who you're buying the course from - but if logistics don't allow you to finish it with us, you can go anywhere in the world to complete.

What is included in the course?

This varies with different courses, but typically, the Course price includes:

- Online Course (eLearning)
- Certification card processing fee
- E-Record
- Quizzes
- Knowledge Reviews
- Exam
- Videos

Is anything not included?

These courses are the theory element of the relevant PADI certification. They do not include the practical, skill development sessions.

Most PADI courses require in-water training that must be conducted by a qualified instructor. Whichever instructor or dive centre that you choose to complete your training will charge a fee for that training.

However, it will be cheaper than their full price as part of the course is already complete.

There are none!

We sell online training materials which don't require postage.

Which payment methods are accepted in the Online Shop?

We acccept payment by Debit or Credit Card worldwide, and if you have a Thai bank account, we can also accept bank transfer

How secure is shopping in the Online Shop?

We have a fully secure website with SSL certificate, and we have an online secure payment provider. With this system, none of the financial transactions occur on this site and we never know your card or account details.
We will never share your personal details with anyone other than PADI and that for the sole purpose of registering your course

Why do you need my date of birth?

PADI needs certain pieces of information to create a profile for you. The information that they require is as follows:

Full Name
Address
Date of Birth
E-mail address

What exactly happens after ordering?

Once you place your order we contact PADI to link the course to your e-mail address and they will then forward you a link to access your materials with instructions on how to activate it.If you have any problems, then please just send us a message and we'll talk you through.

How long will delivery take?

All our online courses are linked to and authorised by PADI. Their office hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday (Aussie time). If an order is placed within those hours, you will usually have your course materials within a few hours.

Sometimes we have to wait for them, so we say that delivery will be within 2 working days to allow for this.

What is your refund / return policy?

You may change your mind about the course and get a refund within 28 days of purchase, provided that you have not downloaded or activated the course. Once you download or register the course with PADI, a refund is no longer possible.
