If you are unable to take part in your booked activity, we’re here to help.
All our products are services, so there will never be a need to return anything. However, we want to make sure you are happy with the service we provide. Sometimes situations change and you are no longer able to do the trip or course that you planned. Here’s what we can do to help
What we will refund, and when
Experiences
If you book an ‘experience’ with us, we will book an Instructor for you. We need to give 24 hours notice to the instructor or pay them for their time. If you change your mind or can no longer do the ‘experience’, and it is more than 24 hours before the activity, then we will happily refund your booking, less any payment processing fees.
Less than 24 hours before the activity and we are unable to refund any money.
National Park tickets
Some of our trips involve buying National Park tickets. The tickets are limited in numbers and must be purchased in advance. The National Parks department has decided that these tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Once we have bought a National Park ticket for you, we cannot refund the trip. We strongly recommend buying travel insurance that covers you in the event that you are unable to go on the trip once the park ticket has been bought.
If we are unable to buy National Park tickets for you, or if you want to cancel early and the tickets have not yet been bought, then we are happy to refund your money, less any payment processing fees.
The deadline for cancelling and getting a refund is 24 hours before your pick-up.
Courses
Most courses include PADI materials – either digital or paper. We charge a deposit that covers the cost of these materials. Once you register or open these materials, then the deposit becomes a purchase that is not transferable and cannot be refunded.
If you start the course, and then realise it’s not for you, or are unable to continue, we will refund any unused training days.
E.g If you start an Open Water course, read the manual, and do the pool day, but cannot do the 2 x Open Water days, we will refund the 2 x Open Water days, but not the cost of the manual and pool training.
