2 days / 1 night on Similans
The Advanced Open Water Course takes your diving up a notch. It is 5 dives with an Instructor where you try new things and improve on skills that you already have.
There are 2 ‘must-do’ dives – Deep and Navigation – and 3 that you decide on with your instructor
You will get your own copy of the training materials (either book or PADI E-learning) and have use of all equipment that you will need to complete the course. We include a dive computer on all training dives. Once you have completed all the performance requirements you will receive certification as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver. You will then be able to dive safely to a maximum depth of 30 metres.
Advanced Course on Local Dive Sites
Building on your Open Water Course the Advanced Course helps to build your confidence and competence. We work on your buoyancy, navigation, go deeper, and try new things.
- Fancy taking some photos or video underwater?
- How about learning to identify fish?
- Maybe going to a wreck for the first time.
All of these are possible on your Advanced course.
Advanced Open Water Course on local sites and Similans/Surins
Dive one day of your course on the amazing Similan or Surin islands. The visibility and fish life is stunning, and we can offer photography and fish-identification dives to make the most of your day.
Advanced Course with Nitrox Specialty
On all Advanced Courses, you can add the Nitrox specialty. Nitrox is fantastic at reducing your Nitrogen loading during a dive. This can result in longer dives, or shorter surface intervals. Many people also feel less tired when on Nitrox. The Nitrox specialty is a land based theory course that takes about half a day, and if you have been thinking about doing Nitrox then this package is exceptional value.
Advanced Course on a liveaboard
Want to do all your dives on the Similans? Fancy doing a night dive as part of your Advanced Course? This option gives you 6 dives (a bonus fun dive included) over 2 days on a flexible liveaboard trip.
